EP 57 - African First Ladies

Most of the time, we as Africans tend to overlook the First Ladies of our countries. We fail to acknowledge their hard work, contribution, and even sacrifice. 

That is why I have decided to dedicate this episode to African First Ladies, and one of them in particular who has done great things for her country Rwanda, Jeannette Kagame.

EP 48 - Margaret Ekpo : An African Amazon

I am going to introduce to you, a woman who made a remarkable impact in Nigeria. Many of you may have heard of her in passing, but unfortunately, you may not be aware of all the amazing things she did and how she shaped Nigeria as we know it today. She stood for what she believed in and became a hero of our time. 

Her name is Margaret Ekpo, and I am honoring her as our African Amazon of the month.

In this episode, I would introduce you to Angel Vendeline Namshali, a Tanzanian woman who withstood the barriers of being deprived of an education because she is a ‘girl child’; to become the first woman (worldwide)to run a resort that is managed and run by an all-female staff.
